Pakistan’s aviation sector is expected to gain momentum after authorities recently cleared long-pending approvals for Jet Green Private Limited, allowing the proposed $30 million private airline project to move toward operational launch.
The approvals had remained pending for nearly a decade. Authorities intervened by coordinating with relevant government departments and regulators to resolve procedural delays.
Officials facilitated the completion of key requirements, including aviation licensing, safety clearances, commercial permissions, and airline certification.
With the necessary approvals now in place, Jet Green is moving from the planning stage toward operational readiness as the latest but new private airline to enter Pakistan’s aviation market.
The entry of the airline is expected to increase competition in the sector and create employment opportunities across aviation and related industries.
