The Punjab government has announced new job openings in the Home Department under the Media Thinktank for Resilience & Counter-Narrative Initiative, offering market-based salaries for multiple contract-based positions.
According to the official advertisement, applications have been invited from qualified and motivated candidates for the posts of Video Editor/Animator, Graphic Designer, Social Media Optimization Expert, Digital Media Monitoring Assistant, and Electronic Media Monitoring Assistant.
The hiring drive covers seven vacancies in total. Two posts each have been announced for Video Editor/Animator and Graphic Designer, while one post each is available for Social Media Optimization Expert, Digital Media Monitoring Assistant, and Electronic Media Monitoring Assistant.
Applicants will have to submit their applications online through the Punjab Job Portal. After online submission, candidates must also send a printed copy of the application form, updated CV, attested copies of CNIC and domicile, educational documents, experience certificates, two recent passport-size photographs, and other relevant papers through registered courier to the Home Department.
The last date to apply is 26 May 2026, and applications received after the closing of office hours on that date will not be considered.
The advertisement states that only candidates holding a valid Punjab domicile are eligible to apply. It also says the posts are purely on a contract basis and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and the terms of the agreement.
Government and semi-government employees have been directed to submit a No Objection Certificate from the relevant authority, while no TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.
The Home Department has also reserved the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
