The University of Sindh has announced summer vacations for all its academic institutes, centers, departments and campuses from June 1 to July 31.
According to an official notification issued by the Registrar’s Office on Friday, classes at the university will resume on August 3.
The notification said directors and chairpersons of all academic institutes, centers and departments have been directed to attend their offices twice a week during the vacation period. They will attend on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It further stated that pro-vice chancellors, deans of faculties, administrative officers and supporting staff will continue performing their duties as usual.
The supporting staff include programmers, superintendents, clerks, laboratory assistants, internet operators, computer operators, security guards and peons.
Faculty members have also been instructed to submit semester examination results to their respective directors and chairpersons before June 1.
