The federal government has revised the schedule for the FY2026-27 budget and confirmed that it will now be presented on June 10, Wednesday, top sources informed ProPakistani a short while ago.
Earlier, the federal government changed the schedule for the upcoming FY2026-27 budget and canceled its original presentation for June 5.
This came after a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) scheduled for June 3 was postponed earlier. A formal notification has already been issued.
The notification added that the revised date for the NEC meeting will be announced later.
The change in schedule has delayed the final timeline for one of the country’s most important fiscal announcements.
