The federal government has revised the schedule for the FY2026-27 budget and confirmed that it will now be presented on June 10, sources well-informed on the matter told ProPakistani a short while ago.
Previously, the budget was expected on June 5, but the timeline was changed following the postponement of the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting scheduled for June 3.
A formal notification regarding the delay has already been issued.
The federal government has now finalized June 10 as the new date for the federal budget presentation.
According to the notification, the revised date for the NEC meeting will be announced separately.
The adjustment has shifted the timeline for one of the government’s key fiscal announcements as budget preparations continue.
