KP Launches Anti-Corruption Desk for Direct Public Complaints

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has inaugurated an Anti-Corruption Desk at the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell to make the registration of corruption-related complaints easier for citizens.

A dedicated telephone number, 091-9222451, has been issued for the public to directly report corruption and administrative or financial irregularities to the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell.

Special complaint desks have also been established for residents of Zamong Kor and shelter homes, giving them a formal platform to register their grievances and seek timely redressal.

The Chief Minister Afridi visited the Complaint Cell at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, where he met citizens, listened to their complaints, and reviewed public feedback on the grievance redressal process.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Afridi said that he had promised the people that every complaint would be addressed, adding that the launch of the desk was practical proof of that commitment.

He assured citizens that anyone reporting administrative or financial irregularities would have the Chief Minister standing firmly by their side. He urged the public to file complaints, saying the government would ensure their resolution.

Afridi said the CM Complaint Cell, established in line with the vision of founding Chairman Imran Khan, is being made more effective. He added that complaints can now also be registered through WhatsApp, email, Facebook, and X, formerly Twitter, while every mobile phone user will be able to lodge complaints directly.

The Chief Minister said he would personally monitor complaints to ensure timely action, adding that the government would not allow public trust to weaken or any injustice to continue.

He said every complaint would be treated as a personal matter and resolved accordingly. Afridi also urged citizens not to lose hope, stressing that the government stands with them and that public welfare remains its top priority.

He further stated that only those policies would be implemented in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa that serve the public interest, with provincial welfare and public trust being given precedence in every decision.
