Pakistan Railways has launched the second upgraded rake of the Awam Express, a move aimed at improving travel facilities for passengers on the Peshawar-Karachi route.
Divisional Superintendent (DS) Peshawar Imran Hayat, along with other railway officials, formally flagged off the upgraded train service on Sunday.
According to Pakistan Railways, the upgraded rake features modern amenities, improved seating arrangements and enhanced comfort for passengers traveling between the two cities.
Passengers welcomed the initiative and praised the department’s efforts to improve travel standards on one of the country’s major rail routes.
