The Azeempura Flyover project has been completed and will be opened to traffic within the next week, according to Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab.
During a late-night visit to the site, Wahab said the project had met the 100-day completion target set by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. He added that the main structure of the flyover is complete, with only final finishing work remaining.
The mayor said the remaining work would be completed within a week, after which the flyover would be made operational for motorists.
According to Wahab, the flyover will improve connectivity between Shahrah-e-Bhutto and Jinnah International Airport, helping ease traffic congestion and reduce travel times.
He said the project reflects the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s efforts to improve urban infrastructure and address the city’s growing traffic challenges.

Unfortunately the “remaining final finishing work” will never see the light of day.
