Pakistan’s car sales rose 19 percent year-on-year to 17,660 units in May 2026, according to data released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).
On a month-on-month basis, sales declined 20 percent, mainly due to fewer working days during Eid holidays.
During 11MFY26, cumulative car sales reached 183,704 units, up 45 percent compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, two and three-wheeler sales increased 13 percent year-on-year to 172,433 units in May, although they declined 10 percent from the previous month.
Cumulative two and three-wheeler sales during 11MFY26 reached 1.8 million units, reflecting a 30 percent year-on-year increase.
