The Government of Punjab has linked the Dastak app with the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) to bring driving license services to the doorstep of citizens.
According to the Punjab Traffic Police, citizens will now be able to access multiple driving license-related services through the Dastak application, aiming to save people from visiting offices and to make services more convenient.
As per the report, citizens can apply for a learner’s driving license from home through the Dastak app, while renewal services are also available upon expiration.
In addition, applications can be submitted online for duplicate licenses in case of loss or damage, as well as for international driving licenses for travel abroad.
According to Punjab Traffic Police, the fee for a learner’s driving license has been set at Rs. 500 per category, while renewal and duplicate license fees will be charged according to government rules based on the relevant vehicle or motorcycle category.
By installing the Dastak app from the Play Store, citizens can access information and services related to various driving license categories, including motorcycle, car, jeep, LTV, and HTV.
Citizens have been advised to refer to the official website of Punjab Traffic Police for any guidance or further details.
