Punjab Extends Summer Vacations for Non-Formal Schools

The Punjab government has extended summer vacations for all Non-Formal Schools across the province until June 30, 2026, due to ongoing harsh weather conditions.

According to a notification issued by the Directorate General of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education, the extension applies to Non-Formal Basic Education Schools (NFBEs), Non-Formal Education (NFE) schools, and GPE TALEEM Program schools operating across Punjab.

The notification stated that the decision was taken in view of the prevailing weather conditions and in accordance with the provisions of the respective project frameworks.
