Milan and Madrid are currently recording higher temperatures than Karachi, according to the latest weather readings.
Both European cities stood at 34°C, while Karachi recorded 30°C under cloudy conditions.
Milan was expected to reach a maximum of 36°C, with a minimum temperature of 25°C. Meanwhile, Madrid’s daily temperature range was forecast between 34°C and 19°C.
Karachi, which is usually associated with hot and humid summer weather, had a forecast high of 34°C and a minimum of 28°C.
The comparison highlights the intensity of the ongoing heat across parts of Europe. Several cities have experienced unusually high temperatures during the early summer period.
However, the figures also show that temperature alone does not determine how hot conditions feel. Humidity, wind speed and direct sunlight can significantly affect the perceived temperature.
Weather conditions can change quickly, so residents should continue checking updated forecasts and heat advisories.
