The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has extended the deadline for paying Water & Allied Charges for the 2025-26 financial year by one month.
According to an official announcement, residents can now pay their dues until July 31, 2026, instead of the previous deadline of June 30, 2026.
The authority did not state a reason for the extension in its notice. However, the decision comes weeks after CDA’s property and water billing system was reportedly hit by a cyberattack that disrupted billing services.
At the time, officials said hackers had compromised data related to property and conservancy charges, while technical teams worked to restore the system.
The extension gives residents additional time to clear their outstanding Water & Allied Charges for the current financial year.
