The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) has launched a passport home delivery service in partnership with TCS, allowing citizens to receive their passports at their doorstep.
The initiative has been introduced on the directions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi as part of the government’s efforts to make passport services more convenient and accessible for the public.
The announcement was made during a meeting between Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa and a TCS delegation led by Chief Executive Officer Hassan Raza Laghari at the Immigration and Passports Headquarters.
Under the new arrangement, TCS has become the official service partner of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports. Applicants can now choose to have their passports delivered to their homes through the courier service instead of collecting them from passport offices.
Officials said the passport home delivery service is expected to provide citizens with a faster, safer, and more convenient way to receive their passports.
The DGI&P said the initiative is part of its ongoing reforms being implemented in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to improve public service delivery.
