Sindh Issues Co-Curricular Activity Calendar 2026-27 for Private Schools

The Sindh School Education Department has issued the co-curricular activities calendar for private schools for the academic year 2026-27.

According to the calendar, private schools will organize special programs in August to mark Independence Day, Eid Milad-un-Nabi, a tree plantation campaign and a cleanliness drive.

In September, schools will hold Defense Day programs along with speech, essay writing and painting competitions to promote character building among students.

In October, special events will be held in connection with Teachers’ Day and Kashmir Black Day. In November, schools have been directed to mark Allama Iqbal Day, organize science exhibitions, stage dramas and celebrate Children’s Day.

In December, schools will celebrate Cultural Day, while January will include Students’ Week and anti-bullying awareness sessions.

The calendar also includes Kashmir Solidarity Day, an anti-drug campaign and a Sports Gala in February. In March, private schools will observe Pakistan Day and organize a flower show. In April, awareness activities related to climate change will be held.

In May, schools will organize seminars, creative competitions and national song programs in connection with Youm-e-Tashakur, also referred to as Marka-e-Haq.

The department has directed all private schools to follow the issued calendar and ensure full participation of students in the scheduled activities.
