Chinese automaker Geely Auto has officially entered Pakistan after appointing Bestway Group as the exclusive importer and distributor of its Geely Galaxy brand.
The company plans to launch two battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), namely the Galaxy EX5 compact SUV and the Galaxy EX2 compact hatchback, in Q3 2026.

Both models will initially be imported as Completely Built-Up (CBU) units.
| Model | Vehicle Type | Intended Buyers |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy EX5 | Compact Electric SUV | Families and SUV buyers |
| Galaxy EX2 | Compact Electric Hatchback | Urban commuters and first-time EV owners |
Under the agreement, Bestway Group will be responsible for vehicle homologation, dealership development, sales, after-sales services and customer support.

The partnership gives Geely an established local network following Bestway’s acquisition of Al-Haj Automotive, enabling the Chinese automaker to enter Pakistan with existing automotive infrastructure.
Geely’s long-term success will depend not only on competitive pricing but also on the availability of spare parts, reliable after-sales support and a strong dealer network.
The arrival of the EX5 and EX2 could increase competition in Pakistan’s electric SUV and urban hatchback segments.
