The Punjab School Education Department has opened applications for the Psychological Well-being and Development Program (PWDP) Internship Program Batch II, offering Psychology students and fresh graduates a chance to work in government schools across the province.
According to the announcement, the internship is open to BS and MS Psychology students enrolled in recognized universities across Punjab. Recent Psychology graduates can also apply.
The internship will run for three months and will be volunteer-based and unpaid. Selected interns will be placed in government schools, where they will take part in mental health awareness sessions, student well-being activities, assessments, and interactive learning programs.

The PWDP Internship Program Batch II will focus on practical fieldwork in government schools. Interns will help deliver structured psychological well-being sessions and participate in student assessment and awareness activities.
They will also be involved in orientation, training, reporting, and field implementation during the internship period.
Selected interns will receive professional training and practical experience in school-based mental health work. The program will also help them develop leadership, communication, facilitation, and teamwork skills.
Interns will also get networking opportunities with education professionals and government officials. After successful completion, participants will receive an official internship certificate from the School Education Department, Government of Punjab.
