How to Apply for NADRA Juvenile Card for Children Under 18

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued the procedure for parents and legal guardians to apply for Juvenile Cards for children under the age of 18.

According to NADRA, the process has been designed to allow parents or legal guardians to obtain identity cards for their children by completing a few required steps at a NADRA registration center.

To apply for a Juvenile Card, the child must first be registered with NADRA. Once the registration is completed, the applicant will be issued a token to proceed with the application.

At the counter, NADRA staff will capture the child’s photograph and fingerprints. The parent or legal guardian accompanying the child will also have to complete mandatory biometric verification.

After this, the data entry process will be carried out. The application will then be verified by an approval officer.

Juvenile Registration

Once all stages are completed, the applicant will submit the required fee online and receive the Juvenile Card within the specified delivery period.

NADRA has also shared the fee structure and delivery timelines for Juvenile Cards.

The normal service fee has been set at Rs. 750, with delivery in 31 days. The urgent service will cost Rs. 1,500, and the card will be issued in 23 days. The executive service fee has been fixed at Rs. 2,500, with delivery in 9 days.

NADRA said that the application can be submitted on behalf of the child by the father, mother, or legal guardian. However, if the application is being submitted by the mother or legal guardian, one of them must be present during the process.

The form will require the parents’ fingerprints, mobile number, email address, and details of the computerized birth certificate.

Citizens seeking further guidance have been advised to contact NADRA’s helpline at 1777 or visit the official NADRA website.
