The Met Office has also predicted more monsoon activity in Punjab, as moist currents from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper parts of the country. Rain, windstorm and thundershower, with isolated heavy falls, are expected in several cities on 11 and 12 July.

Maryam Nawaz also urged parents to take extra care of children during rainy weather. She advised families not to allow children to go near deep or standing rainwater and to avoid sending them outside alone during rain.
