Entry Level Vivo T5 Lite Enters the Market

vivo has launched the T5 Lite in India as the latest model in its T5 series.

The phone comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 6,500mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and 5G support. It will go on sale in India from July 22.

Design and Display

The vivo T5 Lite has a 6.74-inch LCD with HD+ resolution. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a claimed peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

The phone measures 8.39mm thick and weighs 209 grams. It also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

vivo is offering the phone in two color options: Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue.

Internals and Software

The vivo T5 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

It is available with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports storage expansion through a microSD card.

The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS.

Cameras

The vivo T5 Lite has a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary rear camera.

For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 5MP front camera.

Battery and Pricing

The phone packs a 6,500mAh battery and supports 44W wired fast charging.

The vivo T5 Lite starts at $207 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs $228, while the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at $260.

Sales in India will begin on July 22.
