Kia Pakistan Hints at Upcoming Vehicle Launch

Kia Pakistan has released a new teaser, fueling speculation that it is preparing to launch the facelifted Kia Sportage L in the local market.

The company has not revealed the vehicle’s name, specifications, or launch date. However, the teaser shows a rear LED light design that closely matches the updated Sportage L already available in international markets.

Kia introduced the facelifted fifth-generation Sportage globally in late 2024 with a redesigned front and rear, updated lighting, a refreshed interior, and improved infotainment. The company has not confirmed which features or powertrains will be available if the model launches in Pakistan.

Lucky Motor Corporation introduced the fifth-generation Sportage L in Pakistan in February 2025. Although it came in the longer-wheelbase body style, it retained the pre-facelift design instead of the updated global version.

The Sportage L is currently available in Pakistan with gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The hybrid model pairs a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor, producing a combined 227 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

Kia Pakistan has not officially confirmed that the teaser is for the Sportage L facelift. The company has also yet to announce pricing, variants, specifications, or a launch timeline. However, the teaser suggests the updated SUV could arrive in Pakistan soon.
