The Government of Pakistan has announced 600 vacancies under the Ministry of Defence, offering employment opportunities in technical, administrative, IT, engineering, operational and support roles.
The positions range from BS-01 to BS-16 and are available under federal and provincial quotas. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis, according to the recruitment advertisement.
The vacancies include Architect, Software Developer, IT Support Engineer, Manager Administration and Finance, Open Source Investigator, Site Engineer, Research Assistant, Quantity Surveyor and Traffic Analyst.
Other positions include Upper and Lower Division Clerks, Field Operators, Special Operators, technicians, supervisors, drivers, security staff, electricians, firefighters, cooks, mess waiters, Naib Qasid, Mali and sanitary workers.
Educational requirements vary according to the position. Senior and technical posts require relevant bachelor’s degrees, professional qualifications and experience, while several support posts require matriculation, primary education or relevant trade experience.
The general age limit is between 18 and 30 years, although some positions have different limits. Government-approved age relaxation will be available to eligible candidates.
