The Role of a Wife, According to Sadaf Kanwal
Sadaf Kanwal is a controversial star, firstly for allegedly breaking up Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari’s marriage. Secondly, her views regarding feminism and the role of women in marriage.
“In our society, our culture, I have a husband, I’m married, I must pick up his shoes, I have to press his clothes, which I don’t do often but I do know where Sherry’s (Shahroz) clothes are. I know where Sherry’s things are. What he wants to eat and when, I should know this because I am his wife. I am a woman, Sherry shouldn’t know about me. Sherry should know but I should know more about him. I believe this because this is what I saw growing up.”
