ARY is set to release yet another drama serial, which will be starring Faysal Qureshi and Aijaz Aslam as its male lead characters.The duo previously appeared in the comedy drama, “Kis Din Mera Viyah Hoyega”
Faysal Qureshi and Aijaz Aslam will be making their comeback in the series, titled ”Log Kya Kahein Ge”, which will be directed by Mohsin Mirza.
Talking about the new serial, Mohsin said that it would revolve around the stigmatization in our society which exists due to the fear of judgement and critique.
The phrase itself, “log kya kahein ge” becomes the reason we are forced to make so many decisions in our life only because we are afraid of how people will react.
The female lead for the drama is Shaeefa Jabbar Khattak, who will be playing Aijaz Aslam’s wife.
The Plot
Commenting on the storyline, Moshin mentioned that it would be centered around the journey of the female lead, as she faces trials and tribulations after her husband’s death.
The drama will also be a commentary on the double standards faced by a woman in our society in comparison to a man, especially a widowed woman. Mohsin added that he wanted to direct this drama series as it was a very prevalent issue which we, as a society need to address and have and open, honest conversation about.
The shooting for the serial is currently in progress, and it is expected to premiere soon.
