Recently, there has been a huge social media debate on the usage of digital apps in Pakistan. It started with the PUBG ban, and people feared YouTube would be next on the ban list. While YouTube has been safe from the ban, YouTuber Raza Samo (Awesamo Speaks) faced some devastating issues on his channel.
On 27th July, the YouTube comedian ‘Awesamo Speaks’ took to his Twitter account to reveal that his channel KhujLee Family was hacked.
My channel "khujlee family" got hacked please help @ytcreators

While he was able to retrieve his account, the social media star lost monetization. Which means he can no longer earn money from his channels.
Past few days have been very stressful for me, my channel got hacked I retrieved the access later but lost monetisation, in short I won’t be able to make any revenue, im waiting for google’s response. I am not tweeting to make any new hashtag trend just here to ask u for prayers

Many, including Ducky Bhai and Asim Azhar, came to his defense and asked the team of YouTube to help resolve the matter.

Raza also shared a short video on his Facebook page, sharing details of what went down and his plan of action. He said,
When my channel was hacked, they shared a live stream through my channel. They shared something illegal.
I’ve gotten my accounts back, but Google has turned my monetization off.
He further adds that he can’t work for free. Raza hopes his fans will stand by him.
If I’m unable to retrieve my channels fully, then I will make a new account with zero subscribers. And I need you [fans] to promise you will make me reach 1 million subscribers in 1 year.
Raza also said he will upload as many videos as he can on his new YouTube channel. Watch the video here:
Before he lost his monetization privileges, Raza had been working on his channel as Awesamo Speaks for about 5 years, and had gained 1.3 million subscribers. We hope he recovers from this loss.
