Mawra Hocane is a talented actress, model and she has been ruling over social media for a long time. As a public figure and a celebrity, she has greatly contributed to the showbiz industry.
However, there are a few things that don’t fit well and are actually depicting a negative side of the glam world.
In a recent interview with Mira Sethi, Mawra discussed the toxic notions revolving celebrities, including the unrealistic beauty standards.
When asked if actresses only exist because of beauty, Mawra immediately responded with a ‘NO’. She said,
“This concept of beauty is totally wrong. I say that we should allow every kind of people to work in industry, let them believe in their self and let them breathe”.
The Sabaat star further added,
“We should not weigh our industry or actors or actresses in such kind of things. It just creates hate and conflicts”.
Mawra Hocane also mentioned that this doesn’t only exist in our industry, but is rather a social issue.
“Of course it is a major problem in our society but on a human level, we should believe in our self. Firstly, we have to change our self to change the dynamics of the society and the wrong concepts in our industry.”
