Director Nabeel Qureshi is working on a period piece! The Pakistani filmmaker revealed that his upcoming film with Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas will be a period piece.

The Load Wedding creator spilled the tea, during a Q&A session on social media.
“Well, it’s something different from my previous movies,” said Nabeel.
This is a stark contrast to the rom-com Nabeel Qureshi is known for like Actor-in-Law, Na Maloom Afraad, and Load Wedding. There’s a moral of the stories he works, with Load Wedding even leading to the anti-dowry law in Punjab.

Bilal Abbas announced his upcoming movie, Khek Khel Mein in February. The Maan Jao Na actor posted a photograph of a script. The caption was about working with the ‘finest’ director-producer duo in Pakistan.

Fizza Ali Meerza is producing the movie under the banner of Filmwala Pictures. She has worked on all of Nabeel Qureshi’s films, the Na Maloom Afraad franchise, Load Wedding, and Actor in Law.
A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
