Mujhe Wida Kar is currently airing on ARY Digital. The drama has a cast of versatile actors including Madiha Imam, Muneeb Butt, Saboor Aly, Haris Waheed, Raza Talish, Maira Khan, Sana Askari and Tara Mehmood.
The stars have been teasing their fans about the drama since June 2020 and the wait is finally over. Mujhe Wida Kar revolves around a young girl, Rida (played by Madiha Imam) who has always dreamed of getting married and moving abroad. Her dream comes true when she marries Usman (played by Muneeb Butt), but things change when her eyes open to reality.
Written by Samra Bokhari, the drama explores the themes of marriage, heartbreak and emotional abuse. In an interview, Madiha Imam said,
“It will be about emotional abuse, and how mental health dynamics work in a family set-up. You either come out of it, or succumb to it and spend your life in this vicious cycle.”
