Pakistan is trending on Twitter and we’re wondering, ‘how did that happen?’ While we don’t have a clear answer, we’ve made some good guesses.
Our first reaction might be ‘what did we do now?’ This could just as well be positive or negative. This time though we’re somewhere in the middle.
Trolling Indian Twitter over recent cricket developments apparently.
From sticking up for the team, especially after the close call with Australia in the semi-finals.
Congrats #Australia!
With this deserving victory-the action of @T20WorldCup 2021 comes to an end after some great thrilling encounters.

Some fans are going the extra mile to express their sentiments and appreciation for the team. That match seems like ages ago, but instead of focusing on the T20 World Cup final, we’re making Pakistan trend on Twitter.

There was even love for non-players.

As well as a tribute for legends. We can safely say cricket took over this trend.

It’s not just Desi Twitterati that is making this happen.

What sparked this entire discussion? Maybe the news that Pakistan is headed East for a test series.

Then there are also Indian Twitter conspiracies, but that’s nothing new.
Why Rahul Gandhi receives support from Pakistan?
Do they have an IT cell branch in Pakistan too?

Much like all our Twitter shenanigans are marred by politics.

Aside from the not-so-fun side of Twitter, it’s great to see mention our state on Twitter for good reasons for once.
What aspect of the ‘Pakistan’ trend on Twitter did we miss that you would have wanted to see on the list. Let us know in the comments below.
