And the controversial star is once again in news with her remark to host Kiran who age-shamed Mehwish Hayat in her show.
Mathira Mohammad is a Pakistani-Zimbabwean model, dancer, television hostess, singer, and actress. The 29-year-old TV presenter is the daughter of a former Zimbabwean politician. She is currently hosting the show, Insta Show, with Mathira on Bol Network.
Mathira is one of the most controversial and outspoken showbiz celebrities in Pakistan. The 30-year-old has made a name for herself as an entertainer, starring in various TV shows and music videos. The Naagin star is never shy to speak her mind, not afraid of trolls attacking her online. And often questions the moral police that why they think she is a bad person.
Recently the star took to her Instagram account and shared a post in which the host of the show Kiran Butt age-shamed Mehwish Hayat during an interview with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. The host asked the writer that he will not write the role keeping Mehwish in mind after London Nahi Jaunga because of her age.
To which Mathira defends the fellow actress and schooled the host for her ageist remark. She said,
But that was not the case in fact he said,
“Mehwish Hayat is a very good actress, she’s done a wonderful job but this is the last film I’ve done with her,”
