Veteran actor Asif Raza Mir has addressed his son Ahad Raza Mir’s divorce from actress Sajal Aly, sharing insights into their personal and professional lives following the split. In a recent interview, Asif Raza Mir discussed working with Sajal Aly on the upcoming drama serial Main Manto Nahi Hoon after her separation from Ahad.
He revealed that both he and Sajal Aly approached the project with maturity and professionalism, completing their work together without any issues. “There is no animosity between us. We are going to work as actors. Life moves on,” Mir stated, adding that Aly plays his daughter in the drama.
Reflecting on the public’s reaction to the divorce, Asif Raza Mir noted that such events are a part of life and can happen for many reasons. He emphasized the importance of moving forward, saying, “We are mature people, and this has to be learned and understood by people that the world doesn’t end with a relationship. Life goes on.”
Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir began dating in 2018, got engaged in 2019, and married in Abu Dhabi in March 2020. The couple divorced in 2022 after two years of marriage.
