Adnan Sami, the Pakistani-cum-Indian singer has really gone nationalist with his latest tweet.
The musician, who is the son of a decorated Pakistani Airforce pilot, sent out his support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Airforce. We guess they needed the band-aid after yesterday’s ‘air strike’ (a moment of silence for all the trees).
Adnan Sami is calling it fighting terrorism, but we just think he’s trying too hard to settle at his ‘second’ home.
Here is what he tweeted recently:
“The Force Is With You” @narendramodi ji.🙌
Respect to @IAF_MCC ✊.#HowsTheJosh 👊#StopTerrorism 🖐#JaiHind 🇮🇳✌️ pic.twitter.com/x4RCzoPFNy— Adnan Sami (@AdnanSamiLive) February 26, 2019
Of course, Pakistanis were not gonna let that slide. What followed was a trolling grand slam and meme fest.
Adnan Sami Trolled
Interesting twist indeed.
Excellent Adnan! Just keep showing your loyalty to India and keep posting Pakistan’s agencies off the record all key updates. You’re a real unsung hero of Pakistan. You Rock Brave Tiger of Pakistan!

Fighter pilot Arshad Sami Khan as his last wish asked his son Adnan Sami to work as under cover agent for ISI. Adnan has been updating ISI about high profile targets across India and Kashmir. Long live Adnan. Kill them all!

Here, can't summarize it better for you pic.twitter.com/imyElGZPdt— Qasim Zaidi (@QasimZaidi_) February 27, 2019
Calling a spade a spade.
I do not know what is more horrific, the hate mongering in this tweet or the replies to it. Counting bodies for both sides. Yuck. Please respect those who are losing their lives due to botched politics and policy on both sides.

Adnan Sami really wasn’t the first ‘Indian’ celebrity to laud the Indian forces, and he won’t certainly will be the last. One hopes that saner minds prevail and that celebrities should not add fuel to the fire that is war.
