Pakistani artist Adnan Siddiqui is not one to keep his artistic expression limited to his niche. The actor is often seen dabbling in music.

Now the Ye Dil Mera actor shared an instrumental cover of Mehdi Hassan’s ghazal with just the flute. Adnan Siddiqui’s flute cover of Mehdi Hassan’s ‘Gulon Mein Rang Bhare‘.

This was part of the Parsa actor’s poetic contest on Instagram. In a way, Adnan challenged his followers to a duel. The catch was that;

“Anyone and I mean everyone who comments below with poetry will get a response from me in poetry. I will try my utmost to respond to all poetic comments but I will NOT entertain comments without poetry. Let’s all begin a POETIC CONTEST,”

To set the scene, this challenge was accompanied by Pakeezah actor’s flute cover of Mehdi Hassan’s ghazal ‘Gulon Mein Rang Bhare‘.

Previously Adnan Siddiqui posted a piano cover of the Meray Paas Tum Ho OST accompanied by Imran Ashraf’s vocals.

This recent challenge was the Sammi actor’s attempt to compensate for all the fans he couldn’t respond to in recent interactive session on Instagram.

Adnan Siddiqui has hosted multiple live sessions during the lockdown but couldn’t reply to everyone individually. That’s why he thought of doing this ‘poetic contest’.

“Recently I had a whole lot of Instagram live sessions and spoke to a lot of you but couldn’t reply to everyone who commented during these sessions. Some of you write beautiful wishes, some constructively criticize, some even mock making me really happy to see such an amazing fan base,”
