Alia Bhatt has been lauded for her exceptional acting skills and amazing talent. Recently, the diva announced a milestone that she has achieved. The Gangubai Kathiawadi star announced her debut in Hollywood with the Netflix spy thriller film Heart Of Stone. The actress has already proved herself in Bollywood, and now with this announcement, she has just added another feather in her hat.
Alia will be sharing the screen with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The international spy thriller will be directed by Tom Harper and it will be backed by Netflix and Skydance.
Turning to her Instagram on Tuesday, Alia shared a tweet from Deadline revealing that she is working on her first English-language debut, a spy thriller titled Heart of Stone.
According to Deadline, director Tom Harper, known for his work in Peaky Blinders, will be helming the project written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
The film will be released globally on Netflix this spring and follows the story of Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot), an intelligence operative.
Sharing the announcement with fans on Tuesday, Netflix wrote:
“Starting our day by announcing (and SCREAMING!!!) that @aliaabhatt is going to be starring in Heart of Stone, an International spy thriller along with @gal_gadot and @jamiedornan.”
The Highway diva was lauded by Bollywood’s A-listers such as Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zoya Akhtar, and even YouTube star Lilly Singh.
