‘Baby Shark’ Swims to a Full-Length Film

Paramount Plus just announced a 2023 full-length film based on this viral song for kids.

Every parents’ worst nightmare comes true as the annoyingly catchy Baby Shark is getting a full feature-length film with a theatrical release. With Nickelodeon Animation and Pinkfong Company at the helm, expect to have a playlist of “catchy” children’s songs stuck in your head for a long, long time.

Baby Shark Dance” was a viral YouTube video that set social media ablaze when it first came out back in 2018. The video is one of the most viewed videos of all time, surpassing more than 10 billion views just last month! And video continues to grow in popularity among children. The catchy jingle is on the playlist of every child, and the bane for parents everywhere. Not only that, the song is popular among jailers as a form of torture on inmates!

 

As time went on by, we numbed our senses to this viral 2 minute and 17-second earworm, hoping “Baby Shark, do do, do do…” will go away. But that’s not the case. Paramount Plus just announced a 2023 full-length film based on the viral video.

Currently, there are no details on what toddlers can expect to find in the new Baby Shark movie. The film will be co-produced by Pinkfong Company with Nickelodeon Animation. But rest assure we all know this film will have a list of catchy jingles that your children will sing and hum for a long, long time.
