Recently, Amal’s khala Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram took her out for a fun drive. The couple took to social media to share snippets from their fun family outing. However, one clip is going viral for all the wrong reasons. The video in question is of baby Amal, sitting on Ahsan’s lap as he is driving.
People are calling out Minal and Ahsan for being “irresponsible adults” for putting the baby and everyone’s else life at risk.
In an attempt to counter media backlash, Minal took to social media to address the issue. The Jalan star wrote that she and Ahsan took a small drive down their neighborhood.
“Don’t worry, we were driving around in our street,” the actress replied to her fans.
However, netizens are not buying it. Many fans closely observed the video to point out that there were other cars passing by. Netizen demand her to stop covering up and own up to her carelessness.
This is not the first time Minal Khan got schooled about traffic rules. Shaniera Akram, wife of cricket legend Wasim, lectured her about wearing seat belts. In July, Minal posted a video of herself enjoying a drive without wearing seat belt to which the former cricketer’s wife made the point to stress on road safety.
“Come on guys you are famous, and have millions of followers, is it too hard to be a little more responsible?” She further adds, “Put your seat belt and eyes on the road, I’m sorry to say but that song won’t be as cute if she is singing it in hospital.”
