Actor Muneeb Butt trolls PML-N government by sarcastically stating that he will use the Rs. 2,000 subsidy to marry off his daughter.
It shouldn’t come as surprise that actor Muneeb Butt is not a fan of the Pakistan Muslim League-Noon (PML-N) government. The actor is one of the few celebrities who is openly vocal against the government, even getting into a war of words with the likes of Reham Khan.
Recently, Muneeb Butt made a special guest appearance on ARY for an interview with host and journalist Waseem Badami. During the interview, the actor took the opportunity to call out Shahbaz Sharif and his government on their false promises.
Muneeb reminded everyone about the Rs. 2,000 monthly subsidy to Pakistani citizens with earnings less than Rs. 40,000. The sad reality that the government failed to deliver on their promise. Waseem Badami had a laugh as he jokingly asked what Muneeb would do that Rs. 2,000.
Given the current economic crisis, the actor sarcastically said that he would marry off his daughter!
“I have kept them in the bank and will use it to marry off my daughter,” Muneeb jokes. “I will buy a plot with the remaining amount.”
Muneeb Butt started his showbiz journey as a model in 2015 and worked for various popular brands. He made his debut with the drama serial Shanakht with a side role on HUM TV. Later on, he played in various drama serials, such as Rishton Ki Dor, Khatoon e Manzil, Bay Qasoor, Khawab Saraye, Ghairat, Zindaan, Koi Chaand Rakh, and Tum Yaad Aye.
