The wedding season is in full swing all around Pakistan. Every week or two, we get to see mehndi night, baarat or valima function happening in the major cities like Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Some of the weddings are a very high-end affair with people inviting popular celebrities to their big event.

This is not the first time we’ve seen Indian celebrities attending private functions in Pakistan as recently in August, popular Bollywood musician Mika Singh gave a live performance at a private event.
While Pakistanis appreciated his arrival and performance, our ‘not-so-friendly’ neighbors were livid! The Federation of Western India Cine Employees as well as the All Indian Cine Workers Association called for banning him in India’s showbiz industry until he apologized.
