Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, (more popularly known as DDLJ) is one of the most celebrated movies of Bollywood. Not just that but it is still considered as Shah Rukh Khan’s best movie for all time.

The movie will complete its 25 year anniversary this year, but it is still as fresh in our memories as Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘palat’.

But, we are not alone in this Bollywood hangover, in fact Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth is also a fan of this hit movie.

Channeling out his inner Bollywood on the sets of his upcoming movie Extraction, Chris Hemsworth recited this infamous dialogue from DDLJ.

“Bade bade deshon mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hai” (Small things like this happen in big countries).

Is Chris Hemsworth a Fan of Bollywood?

Chris is currently shooting for his upcoming movie which is set to release on Netflix in April 2020. The cast of the movie features American and Indian actors including David Harbour, Derek Luke,  Manoj Bajpai and child star Rudhraksh Jaiswal.

On the special request of his fans in India, Chris repeated some dialogues from DDLJ. At first he struggled to get a hold of the tongue twisting dialogue, but soon mastered it and even commented,

“Fluent. It is better than my Spanish.”

Rudhraksh shared the video on his Instagram with the caption,

“And guys there you have it @chrishemsworth saying an Hindi dialogue… This is so cool guys. loves his dialogue delivery and his smile. He just killed it.”
