But unfortunately, he did not get much lucky in his love life. Recently, the Shehr e Zaat actor opened up about his divorce and the struggles he went through in his relationship.
Zulfiqar also revealed that he plans to remarry soon!
Addressing the question about his marriage with his ex-wife, model Sara Bhatti, Zulfiqar said
“In my marriage, I had certainly felt the pressure to clarify things with my wife. I would feel bad for her.”
He further added that
“The nature of this work can lead to your spouse making assumptions even if there is no truth to them at all.”
Mikaal said that he plans on remarrying but at the moment his daughters and work life are his priority.
The actor went on to say that
“I am still scarred and scared but I am open to the idea of remarrying. I don’t think about it all the time, though. I am very busy with work and I have my girls.”
Meanwhile, his ex-wife Sarah could not restrain herself from plunging into the situation and negating his statement claiming that she was a supportive wife. Sarah Bhatti lashed out at publications and people calling her a disobedient wife and a bad mother.
“I genuinely don’t think they are worth addressing because whatever really” she said.
Mikaal Zulfiqar married model Sara Bhatti in 2012 after being engaged for two years. In 2017, the former couple announced their divorce publicly.
