The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) administration have removed animals from the residence of former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi on Wednesday. According to the reports, DHA residents had filed a complaint against him for keeping animals at his house.
Based on the complaints of the residents, the authorities got the animals removed from his house and asked him to remove other supplies for livestock as well.
This is not the first time for Shahid Afridi
It is pertinent to note here that Shahid Afridi got in trouble for keeping a chained a lion at his house back in 2018. He himself shared the photos on his Twitter, advising others to take care of animals, but ironically housed a wild animal at his home.
“Great to spend time with loved ones. Best feeling in the world to have my daughter copy my wicket taking celebrations. And yes don’t forget to take care of animals, they too deserve our love and care,” he wrote.

The photos sparked an uproar on social media and netizens were disappointed to see him taking it so lightly. Upon receiving various complaints, the Wildlife Department had to intervene and launched an inquiry into it.
