Maya was a guest on Tonight with Ahsan Khan along with Bilal Ashraf. During the show, Ahsan asked Maya to clear an assumption about her. She was asked by the host if she copies Mahira Khan’s accent? Many people have observed that there is an uncanny resemblance between the accent of both actresses.
The Pehli Si Muhabbat star replied that this is not true at all. “I am what I am and Mahira Khan is what she is,” Maya said that every individual is different and while there can be some similarities. It is unfair to say that one is copying someone else’s style.
She even praised Mahira for her dedication and hard work. “To be honest Mahira Khan is an example for every female actress in our industry and if you can learn something which is good for us then why not,” added Maya.
Ahsan Khan asked Maya Ali quite a few tricky questions but she answered everything very confidently. Whether it was her rumoured linkup with Sheharyar Munawar or her chemistry with Osman Khalid Butt, Maya clarified everything in a calm and cool manner.
