Faysal Qureshi is one of the most sought-after actors of the Pakistani showbiz industry. He has become a household name after brilliant performances on TV as well as on the silver screen. Recently, Faysal, along with his co-star Madiha Imam, had an interview with BBC to promote their latest drama serial Dil-e-Momin. The two stars talked about their experiences working in the showbiz industry.
The host states that Faysal has worked with several big actresses but over the years, many of these top stars, especially actresses, have stopped appearing on TV. To which the Qaid-e-Tanhai star said,
“Most actresses get married and are investing time in bringing up their children and some actresses working on sets are keeping a check on their kids. It is always difficult for girls because they have more responsibilities. We think that we run homes but actually it’s the ladies who do this job.”
Faysal gave the example of Iqra Aziz, who he believes is a talented actress but after the birth of her son Kabir, we rarely see the Suno Chanda actress on TV. Hence, her husband Yasir Hussain is working constantly on new projects.
“Nowadays, Iqra is not working just because of the same reason, on the other hand, Yasir is doing projects one after another”
