Girl Sets Her House on Fire After Father Refused to Pay for Her TikTok Video

In a shocking turn of events, a woman from Pir Jo Goth, Sindh has set her house on fire after her father refused to finance her TikTok video.

The woman is a student of 10th grade and has been identified as Marvi Khiliji. According to her ailing father, Abdul Aziz, Marvi asked him to finance a modeling video for her TikTok. He claimed that she demanded Rs. 200,000 from him for the purpose. When he refused, she got angry and set fire to the house. Reportedly, a fridge and a washing machine were also destroyed during the blaze.

Another Tiktok Crime?

Abdul Aziz, who is a retired employee of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), registered a complaint against his daughter Marvi. She has been charged under Section 436, 427, and 506/2, bringing her to the court of the magistrate.

On Saturday, the court subsequently sent her to Sukkur Prison for 14 days.

Earlier on Friday a security guard accidentally shot himself dead while shooting a video for TikTok near Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi.

Further investigation of the incident is still underway.
