Air Fryer is the new hot appliance these days to satisfy your cravings for oily food without worrying about additional calories. It brings fried food to life but with less oil. From crunchy pakoras to juicy chicken wings and even the Keto-diet recipes, every food can be made insanely easy with no to only one tablespoon of oil.

Air-Fryer can be used in making anything from breakfast to dinner but one of the best things it does is make snacks within minutes. Just dump your favorite snack in it and after a few minutes Voila! It’s ready to chomp on.

 

Watching a movie till late at night or working till the wee hours of the morning while munching on junk and oily snacks? Here are some of my go-to healthy and guilt-free food options to satisfy untimely hunger cravings.

 

 

  • Crunchy Potato Chips/ French Fries

Ingredients:

  • Large Potatoes
  • Salt
  • Oil Spray/ Any oil

 

Method:

Pre-heat the air-fryer to 360 C. Wash, Peel, and cut potatoes in whatever shape or size you want and soak them for 15 minutes in ice cold water. Pat them dry and sprinkle salt and spritz with oil spray or drizzle 1 tablespoon of oil on them. Put them in Air-Fryer with a greased tray in a single layer for 15 to 17 minutes.

And voila there you go enjoy crispy crunchy potato chip or French fries with your favorite dip-sauce.

 

 

 

  • Gooey Mozzarella Cheeses Sticks

Ingredients:

  • Mozzarella Cheese sticks
  • Eggs
  • Bread crumbs
  • Oil spray
  • All-purpose flour
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Any seasoning you like e.g. Italian seasoning, taco seasoning, etc.

Method:

Preheat the air-fryer to 390 F. Cut the mozzarella cheese into finger sticks and freeze them for about 30 minutes. In the meanwhile combine all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in one bowl. And breadcrumbs, and seasoning of your choice in another bowl. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.

Take out the frozen cheese sticks dip them in beaten eggs then flour mixture and again in eggs and then in breadcrumbs. If you want them to be extra crispy repeat the process after freezing them once again for almost 30 minutes.

Grease the pan with oil and put the coated sticks in a single layer for 6-7 minutes. And serve them hot with any spicy sauce.

 

 

 

  • Juicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings
  • Paprika powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion powder
  • Oil

 

Method:

Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 F. Pat dry the wings to clean extra moisture. Mix all the seasoning in a bowl and coat the wings thoroughly. Grease the pan with oil and put the wings in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes and flip them halfway through the process. Serve with your favorite sauce.

 

 

 

  • Corn On The Cob (Bhutta)

Ingredients:

  • Corns
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Chili powder
  • Lemon

Method:

Clean the corn, and remove all the husks. Rub the oil all over the corn and put it inside the air-fryer at 400 F temp. Cook it for 10 minutes and turn halfway through. Mix the salt and chili powder on in a bowl and cut the lemon in half. Dip lime in seasoning and rub generously over the cooked corn and enjoy!

 

 

 

  • Buttery Warm Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Unsalted butter
  • White sugar
  • Brown sugar
  • Chocolate chips
  • Baking soda
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla essence
  • All-purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Oil for greasing

Method:

Combine the butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl until creamy. Mix all the dry ingredients in another bowl. Mix the butter batter with dry ingredients slowly and thoroughly. Once the dough is ready add chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed. Scoop out small bowls of the dough and put them on a greased pan or you can use butter paper. Cook them for 7-8 minutes at 300 F temp.

 

 

Air fryers are available in different sizes and brands so the cooking time may vary according to it. And the recipes here can be adjusted or changed according to your taste. These are the recipes I use and they taste great.
