Much like the list of Sexiest Men in Asia that was published recently, the follow up to it announced the top ten Sexiest Asian Female of 2019. With some of the biggest names in Bollywood part of the list, a couple of Lollywood starlets also managed to make their mark as well. One Pakistani starlet is our resident Gangster Guriya Mehwish Hayat!
The popular Lollywood actress, along with the gorgeous Mahira Khan, outranked Bollywood megastar Priyanka Chopra this year. While Mehwish was ranked ninth in the list, Mahira Khan was able to nab the fifth spot in the list of Sexiest Asian Female of 2019.
The UK based publication posted the list that was not just based on the votes garnered by these celebrities but the overall media coverage they received as well as the impact they made across various social media platforms.

Mehwish Is Not Impressed
While many people congratulated and cheered the Lollywood stars’ entry in the list, Mehwish was not all too impressed. The actress was against the concept of the list. Here’s what the Load Wedding star had to say on Twitter:
“I’ve been receiving a lot of congratulatory messages via texts & social media. I should be flattered to be on the list of sexiest Asians and to be honest, ten years ago when I was the 1st Pakistani to make it onto the list, I was. “Sexy” is defined as “sexually attractive or alluring”. Judge people on talent, on merit, on intellect, on wit.. but not on physical attributes. Times have changed and these sort of lists should now be confined to history!”
Mehwish continues to win fans over with her bold statements and strong principles. Despite the crown going to Alia Bhatt and not Mehwish, this is just another list based on glamour and fashion. For us, Mehwish Hayat is still number one in our books.
