Hira Mani has made headlines one too many times for saying the wrong things. This time she’s under fire for joking about the Coronavirus pandemic.
Previously the actress had said that ‘Americans are cowards to self-quarantine‘ amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She even went on to laud Pakistani-Americans who weren’t following precautions.
“There’s a strict curfew here, big brands are closed, streets are empty. I went to a mall here, First Colony and there, all the Pakistani people, salesgirls were present and all white people were on leave; they turned out to be quite cowardly, we’re really cool.”

What followed was a mix of trolling and criticism. Netizens were appalled by the Pret Na Kariyo actress’s ignorance.
The tone-deaf humor towards how fatal this disease is and the global death toll was not funny.
Others trolled the couple and called this an attempt for publicity.
