While Hira and Mani are some of the most popular and successful couples of Pakistani showbiz, they have seen their fair share of struggles in the early years of marriage.
Speaking to Aagha Ali and Hina Altaf, the hosts of The Couple Show, the Do Bol actress revealed that they have struggled financially after their marriage.
“We have seen the low of each other in a way that there was a time when there were only 10 thousand rupees in both mine and Mani’s account and Sun Yara became a hit serial. This means on one side there was a hit serial and on the other hand, we didn’t have money because Mani had just started production. We had a house that was not getting sold. We felt trapped” said Hira.
The couple also revealed that they had to face resistance from their peers in the industry because of their financial conditions. Recalling an incident, Hira Mani said,
“I remember almost four years ago, I won’t name the actor, we went to a morning show on someone’s birthday and the actor refused to make an entrance with us.”
However, the couple came out of their financial crisis stronger than ever and never gave up on their dreams.
Earlier, Hira Mani showered love on her husband and wrote a heartfelt birthday note for him. She also shared the photos from the celebration on her Instagram.
