La La Land star Emma Stone is engaged! The 31-year-old Hollywood actress has been dating SNL director Dave McCary for some time now.
Recently, McCary took to Instagram to share the happy news with fans of his engagement.
No words were needed as the couple posted an adorable picture with an emoji caption, “?.”

It Is Official
A source confirmed to People Magazine that Emma Stone and Dave McCary had been dating since 2017. The two met when the Oscar-winning actress was invited to host SNL at the end of 2016. During one of the skit segments called “Wells for Boys”, directed by McCary, the two hit it off and the rest as they say is history.
Aware of the looming paparazzi, Emma and Dave kept their romance relatively private. However, the two had been spotted multiple times out on dates in New York City.
On one of their date nights, Emma was spotted in a black shirt, black pants and a grey coat as McCary walked behind her in a jacket, hat and glasses.
The La La Land star also showed her support for McCary, a two-time Emmy nominee, when she attended the premiere of his feature directorial debut Brigsby Bear in July 2017.

Before Emma Stone met McCary, she was publicly dating her co-star from The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, Andrew Garfield. The two went their separate ways after dating for almost four years.
With the break-up and his Amazing Spider-Man franchise pretty much cancelled, we wonder what Andrew is doing right now…
All jokes aside, Andrew and Emma have remained supportive of each other and are friends.
“There was no drama, they’ve been apart while working. They still care about each other,” a source previously told PEOPLE at the time of their split. “They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close.”
In May 2017, Emma even visited the actor in London during a break from filming The Favourite while Garfield had been starring in the 25th-anniversary revival of Angels in America at the National Theatre.
It is nice to see both actors are in good terms with each other and we wish Emma and Dave McCary have a happy future together.
