Lately, we have seen romantics, actions, and subtle comedies but Horror movies are produced very less in number. But, fret not! the latest upcoming movie Lafangey is going to give you chills as well as will leave you in fits!
The stellar cast includes Mani, Sami Khan, Nazish Jahangir, Saleem Meraj, Mubeen Gabol, and Behroze Sabzwari. The upcoming film belongs to the horror-comedy genre, a combo you don’t see a lot in Pakistan.
It seems quite hilarious by the imbecile avatars of these talented actors. Nazish Jehangir will be playing a ghost in the movie.
The film has been directed, produced, and penned by Abdul Khaaliq Khan.
“Lafangey represents a story of fear of every common man who has a hero hidden in himself. It’s a journey of how these apparently common men (the four principle characters) overcome their inner fears to outshine themselves”, described Khaaliq.

While talking to a local publication Mani spilt some beans about the upcoming horror-comedy film.
“It is a horror-comedy movie. The story is funny and we had a lot of fun making it. I think we wrapped shooting up in 25 to 26 days,” he shared.
He further added that;
“The movie has been made within its budget. Many movies that are being made these days all go past their budget and yet get zero returns. When it comes to this movie, we made it with a lot of consideration and due diligence and is complete with masala shashka entertainment.”
The movie is going to have two parts with Nazish Jahangir playing the lead in the first part, titled “Lafangey Chapter 1”, while Sonya Hussain awaits to play her part in the film’s sequel “Lafangey Returns” as a lead. But part one will be released on Eid Ul Azha 2022. Whereas the release date of part 2 hasn’t been revealed.
Seems like there are going to be full houses on Eid-Ul-Azha since heaps of entertainment are coming our way. London Nahi Jaunga, Quaid e Azam Zindabad, Lafangey, Thor, and more.
